Microneedling Pre-Treatment Instructions

Discontinue Certain Skincare Products
Stop using retinoids, exfoliating agents, and active ingredients like AHAs, BHAs, and Vitamin C at least 48 hours before the procedure.
Refrain from Blood-Thinning Substances

Hydrate Your Skin

No Waxing, Threading, or Depilatory Creams
Avoid these hair removal methods in the treatment area for at least 7 days before your session.
Avoid Other Treatments
Refrain from chemical peels, laser treatments, or other skin treatments at least 2–4 weeks before microneedling.
Notify Your Provider About Skin Conditions
Inform your provider of any active skin infections, cold sores, or skin sensitivity. They may recommend rescheduling if your skin is compromised.
Do Not Shave or Exfoliate on the Day of the Treatment
Allow your provider to prep the area as needed to avoid irritation.
Remove Makeup and Skincare Products
